I’d glady skip my birthday AND Christmas for this because I want this book NOW.more Let’s pick something cute, sweet, fluffy and less than 350 pages for our next one though :D What I enjoyed most was my buddy reading time with my book gals, who gladly marched their way through the pages along with me <3 You ladies do make reading more fun than it already is.
It could have been a few pages shorter and as I already mentioned, less sex would be preferred next time. Sadly, I did not enjoy this as much as books one and two but it wasn’t that bad. The book started and ended with a bang and what happened in between is somewhat of a blur because not much was going on honestly aside from me feeling like I should have been taking notes since book one. (This coming from a huge romance genre fan, it just added nothing to the story after a while). Just stop having them rub their genitals all over the pages, all the time.
Cas and Poppy like sex, any place, anywhere, any time. But it just kept on getting worse and worse.more I tried, I really did and like I said: I wanted to overlook a lot. Every other sentence somebody's core is mentioned and that thing does A LOT of things I've never heard about. I didn't connect with any of the characters because they were all basically the same horny bland extras with different names. I think I know more about her wardrobe than about my own at this point. And when they're not having sex then it's like the author thought "Oh, RIGHT, I was going somewhere with this, and here is another little bit of info that doesn't advance the story at all but enough of that, let's describe in detail what the main character is wearing, yet again." You know, focus on the really important stuff.

I'm all for romance in the books I read but this is just a boring free for all sex fest that involved everybody and anybody. Words that got repeated at least twice in two consecutive sentences. Weird synonyms when it would have been just fine to use a common word Descriptions of things that just didn't need to be written like it was penned down by somebody who lived 250 years ago Sentences and words that just did not make sense at all (wtf is a food forest anyway, isn't a regular forest a source of food by default and is there also a non food forest then?). The constant use of the wrong words (for example she/her are 100% the same thing apparently?) For starters, this had so many mistakes and it just never ended: Has that person even read ACOTAR? I think we gave this a fair shot and overlooked SO much but after 50% it just stopped being interesting and I was so bored and annoyed I started skipping a lot of parts. I saw a review comparing this to ACOTAR, and that was one of the reasons I wanted to read this but the only thing these books have in common is that they are both books. This looks like a rough draft that got published by accident. But this book hasn't seen an editor in it's life and it shows. I am sorry about this review because I know writing books is hard. But this book hasn't seen an editor in it's life and it show Buddy read with Jess <3
